Dixon/Dickson Families and their Ancestry
by Betty Green
One must admire anyone who fulfills her ambitions in such a handsome set of volumes as these. The family documented in these volumes traces to the Moravian immigrant William Dixon of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and wife Christina Orchard who were sent to Bethabara in North Carolina in 1760. Tracing their descendants in NC, SC, TN, GA, MS, AR, OK, TX, etc., descendants of Joseph Frederick Dixon in Burke and Rutherford Counties, North Carolina are included. We are extremely pleased to have these extraordinary volumes in our library. --The Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County
